A second-half Stewart Kean double gave St Mirren the points and ruined Owen Coyle's farewell appearance.

The home side twice hit the woodwork but the Buddies made us pay for our missed opportunities, after 65 minutes when Alan Reid's cross was powered home by Kean.

Eleven minutes later Allan Russell was the provider, holding off a challenge before sending over a measured cross for Kean to make the points safe.

Coyle, who leaves to take over as St Johnstone boss, played for 78 minutes.
